AFTER SCHOOL
Give your child the gift to play freely and creatively in nature!
Our winter after school sessions will take place in “Gaia’s Winter Palace” (the Picnic House in Prospect Park). It will be a hybrid indoor-outdoor program in which kids have the chance to play outside or take refuge and explore their creativity in our cozy winter home.
Registration for spring will be open on January 1st! For this session, we will return to the “Wonder Village” — a magical forest near Litchfield Villa. See below for more details!
During our outdoor after school programs, kids go on missions that lead them to play together, build relationships, and solve conflicts using compassionate communication. We set up creative stations to inspire imaginative play, and they do the rest!

Wonder Kids After School offers an immersive experience in a unique natural setting. Here, the Wonder Kids are free to engage with the natural world and build authentic relationships with other children.
With props, costumes, building supplies, and mysterious scrolls with missions, every day becomes a unique adventure where children develop their own games, characters and stories through free play.
Experienced leaders in outdoor education and creative play create a safe environment in which children can feel calm and confident to discover new facets of themselves. Our activities encourage the expansion of the imagination and a sense of security for when trying new things.
We do improvisational play, music, dance, and theater with talented artists who collaborate with us, exposing children to diverse forms of creative self-expression.
DATES & PRICING
2025 Winter season - wednesdays
✔ Price: $560 (8 sessions at $70)
✔ Dates: January 8, 15, 22, February 5, 12, 26, March 5, 12
No sessions on January 29 or February 19 since public schools are closed
Pricing per session is higher than Spring and Fall sessions in order to cover for the extra cost of renting the Picnic House. Please let us know if this is an impediment.
